Structural Integrity... Almost...

I had a GREAT day today working on Ravat.  I was able to cut out and laminate 4 layers of 10 oz. fiberglass on the port side.  It went on very smoothly, and I think I'll be able to do the starboard side in much less time now that I know what I'm doing.  I made a bit of a mess of the edges, but its nothing my grinder can't fix in a few minutes.  Now I need to figure out whether or not the laminate is thick enough, or if I'm going to need additional layers.  I'm hoping I can answer that question tomorrow...

It's pretty amazing how easy this kind of work can be once you get over the mental blockade and start moving...  Well, maybe easy is the wrong word.  It feels good to have made this kind of progress though.
